Hamilton Elementary School Presents Night of the NotablesEach Hamilton fourth grader selected a “notable” historic figure for their project. They spent almost a month researching their notable person. They wrote a synopsis of the person’s life and then dressed as that person for a presentation attended by family members.

Students, while in costume, read their papers aloud.  At the end of all the presentations, the audience had to guess who all of the notable people were based on the information given.

Once everyone had written down their guesses, each notable person’s name was then revealed, and refreshments were served.

The Night of the Notables tradition is the brainchild of fourth grade teacher Trent Pomeroy, who has hosted the event for eighteen years.
